Rachel Perry (she/her) moved to Philly in 2022 to serve with NHC as a patient advocate in North Philadelphia. She graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor degree in Biology, and hopes to continue her education in medical school. Her desire to eventually serve the community as a physician is what drew her to work with AmeriCorps. After completing her service term as a member, and loving the program, she decided to transition into the program coordinator position so she could guide future members through their AmeriCorps experience! 

Outside of the office, Rachel loves to run and collect medals from various Philly races. Rachel also loves to explore all of the amazing restaurants Philly has to offer, but especially anything Mediterranean. She also continues to strengthen her connections to the city by volunteering around the city with organizations such as Grace cafe and Cradles to Crayons, and is always looking for new ways to enhance the well-being of the Philly community.
