Why did you decide to join NHC?

To gain experience in a health-related setting and also to learn more about the many factors that impact an individual’s health.

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?

I hope to improve my interpersonal skills so that I am able to effectively communicate with a wide range of populations. I also hope to learn how health and law relate to one another.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term? 

I am looking forward to building meaningful relationships with people who share the same vision of improving public health, and also exploring new parts of Chicago that I did not know of before!
