What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?
I'm most looking forward to learning directly from people's lived experiences and gaining a real world understanding of the challenges they face. I look forward to growing in an environments where I can be challenged, inspired and encouraged to make impacts in the community I am serving.
Why did you join NHC?
I have witnessed first hand how gaps in health literacy, digital access and language interpretation have created barriers to well-being. I want to be involved in empowering underserved communities and reducing health disparities. I am connecting people and families with the resources they need and empower them on their healthcare journey.
