Value-Based Care Coordinator – Quality Improvement

Where are you from?

I’m from Henderson, NV but have lived in Los Angeles, CA for the last four years for college!

Why did you decide to join NHC?

I decided to join the National Health Corps to engage more directly with public health, applying my skills to support communities, address adverse health outcomes, and gain hands-on experience in delivering programs that improve access to care.

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?

I hope to deepen my understanding of value-based care, develop skills in care coordination, and learn how data-driven approaches can improve patient outcomes and advance health equity.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?

I am most looking forward to meeting my cohort, working with the SFDPH team, and exploring San Francisco!
