Delaware: New Castle County

Northeast Pennsylvania: Bradford, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming.

Southern California Inland: Riverside and San Bernadino Counties

Greater Philadelphia: Philadelphia, Delaware, Chester and Montgomery County. 

 

About the Application Process

We enthusiastically welcome applicants with a variety of backgrounds and experiences! All NHC Community Health Fellowship members must be residents of the communities where the program operates at the time of application submission

Members in Central California, Delaware , Greater Philadelphia and Southern Inland California  will serve a 1,700 hour service term over 42-52 weeks beginning January and February 2023. Applications will remain open until all open positions are filled. 

Members in NorthEast Pennsylvania will serve a 2,000-hour service term over the course of one year beginning August 29, 2022. Applications will remain open until all open positions are filled.

Interview #1
If moved forward, applicant completes first interview
Interview #2
If moved forward, candidate completes second interview, and NHC staff answer questions about positions of interest. References must be submitted before scheduling the interview.
Host Site Interview
If moved forward, Host site supervisors invite and conduct interviews with all candidates
Post-host Site Interview
Host sites communicate offers to NHC staff to share with selected candidates
Offers Made
NHC staff will notify candidate of all offers the candidate receives

Recruitment Timeline

NHC recruits members on a rolling basis until member positions are full.
