Where are you from?

I was born and raised in Duluth, GA and moved to Athens, GA for college. 

 

 

Why did you decide to join NHC?

 

My experiences have given me insight into the challenges that uninsured and underserved communities face in accessing and navigating the healthcare system. I decided to join the NHC because it is an ideal opportunity to join a team dedicated to reducing those barriers through outreach and health education.

 

 

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?

 

I am hoping to learn more about the complexities of the healthcare system and hone my service & leadership skills. 

 

 

Whar are you most looking forward to during your service term?

 

I am looking forward to connecting with my fellow NHC service members and communities in Jacksonville, Florida.
