Where are you from?  I grew up in Turlock, California and I now live in Davis, California.
 

Are you a Student? If so, where and what are you studying?
I recently graduated with a B.S. in Human Development and a B.A. in Psychology.

Why did you decide to join NHC? I decided to join NHC because I knew I wanted to go into public health. I also grew up in Central
California, and I feel a duty to serve the community that I am a part of.
 

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?
I am hoping to gain insight on how public health looks like in action. I have experience learning about various health topics, but I want to learn how these organizations implement programs and services to best fit people's needs.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?
During this service term, I am most looking forward to gaining connections with those around me. Whether it is with the staff at the host site, other members, or the NHC staff, I am excited to learn and work with those around me.
