Chicago Health Corps Update
The Chicago Health Corps (CHC) is currently undergoing a transition. Unfortunately, the National Health Corp’s long-time partner, the University of Illinois School of Nursing, is not longer able to host the CHC program. The NHC is currently in negotiations with another Chicago area organization to take over the CHC. We hope to have those negotiations finalized by the end of July and a new program staff hired shortly thereafter.
We tentatively anticipate a program start date of early October.
We are accepting applications for the CHC program via the AmeriCorps recruitment website. We will send out program updates via email to everyone who has applied to the program.
